Monday August 27th 4:00pm, Bluebird Park, Laguna Beach, Host: Lisa Thornton 636-2966
This is a great park with two areas of play equipment. For the toddlers there’s swings, low monkey bars, slide, a tricycle path with a bridge. For the older kids there’s lots of climbing equipment, swings, and a tall rocket ship slide. There is also a grassy area, basketball court, slides built into the hillside, cement path surrounding the park. It has bathrooms and is fenced in.
Directions: Take 5 Fwy, exit El Toro, follow El Toro to the signal at Laguna Canyon Rd.. Take a left on Laguna Canyon Rd and follow to city of Laguna Beach. Turn left on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left at Cress Street (it’s a signal). Go up the hill and the park will be on your right. Additional parking available on Temple (the cross street before the park). Parking is mostly on a steep hill with a steep shoulder so may want to bring a stroller if your kids are runners.
