Less than a mile to walk around so you can do two laps and then there is a great little shopping center with essential coffee shop (TULLY"S) over the bridge with a play area right beside it. (There is also a Ruby’s.)  There are lots of things for the kids to look at and a park en-route by one of the bridges. Meet by Waters restaurant.
Directions: From the 405 north, exit Culver and turn right. Go over Main and Alton and turn right on Barranca. Turn left onto Lake and immediately right to park in the Lakeside Offices and Restaurants parking lot. Take the ramp located between Lakeside Vision Center and Lake Café down to the lake near Waters restaurant.
