Wednesday March 12th 10:30am, Laguna Niguel Regional Park, Host: Stacey Hill 412-6263
Come feed the ducks! Beautiful Laguna Niguel Regional Park has a creek with friendly ducks, paths for walking and a playground with lots of slides, swings, climbing structures, bathrooms and a shady area over picnic tables. Bring vegetables for the ducks (healthier than bread) and a change of clothes if your toddlers are adventurous! It’s about a 10 minute walk on a paved path from the parking to the play area. Lots of paved areas for strollers too.
Directions: From the south – exit 5 Fwy at Crown Valley and go west. Turn right on La Paz. Drive 1¼ miles and enter park on your left for pay parking, or for free parking (and a short walk) turn right onto Yosemite (side street). From the north – exit 5 Fwy at La Paz and go west. Pass Aliso Creek and turn into the park on your right for pay parking, or for free parking (and a short walk) turn left at Yosemite, which is the first side street. For both – just after you turn onto Yosemite, there is a walkway on your left which goes under La Paz and into the park. Do a U turn and park in front of the walkway (across from the church). If you are late, just go under the walkway, turn right and you’ll see the playground. If you pay to go into the park, the lot is right next to the play equipment. If you choose to park off Yosemite, you may want to bring a stroller as it is a several minute walk.
