A place where the kids can run and the adults can linger…..50 acres of extraordinary color in bloom on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. April 27th through April 29th is "Orchids at the Flower Fields". New this year is the sweet pea maze, historic poinsettia display, and American display of flowers. The fields are accessible by stroller and wheelchair by using a pathway along the bottom of the fields (not between the flowers on the hillside). Admission is $9/adult, $5/3-10yrs, 2 and under free. Wagon rides are $4/adult, $3/child 3-10, 2 and under free. The fields are located next to the Carlsbad factory outlet mall, where there is a Rubios, Rubys, and many other restaurants in case we decide to go to lunch afterward. We will meet at the entrance at 10:00am.
Directions: Take the 5 south, exit Palomar Airport Road and go east/left on Palomar Airport Road to Paseo Del norte and turn left, make an immediate right into the lot.
