| Special Needs Support Group meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th at Dea Del Rosario's home. Dr. Nancy McGovern will be our facilitator for the evening. She is with the Orange County Health Care Agency and also has adult boy/girl twins. Anyone interested in sharing ideas with other women facing similar special needs challenges that are unique to having multiples (but may be different to the challenges of parenting “typically developing” children) are welcome to attend. It will be an opportunity for mothers to meet and get an understanding of the types of issues that each family is trying to deal with related to raising a child with special needs, including the impact on the sibling(s) and the family, in general.
